Dr. Abdussamad Muhammad
Dr. Abdussamad Muhammad holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna State Nigeria. Currently, he is a lecturer in the Department of Veterinary Medicine, Bayero University, Kano, Nigeria where he teaches courses such as introduction to Agriculture (Animal component), General Agriculture (Animal component), Anatomy and physiology of farm animals. Others are Principles of Animal production, Animal Health and Diseases Animal product, processing and Handling and productive physiology and Artificial insemination. His research interest are preventive animal health and welfare, immunonutrition, animal adaptation and reproductive physiology, organic animal production, advances in animal science and veterinary education and application of biotechnology to animal health and production. Dr. Abdussamad has published numerous research articles on these areas and has attended and presented papers in conferences. He is a member of several professional bodies such as Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, Nigerian Society for Animal production, International Society of Camelid Research and Development, organic Agriculture project in tertiary institutions in Nigerian and American Society for cell biology.
