Dr. Augustus O. Atubi holds Ph.D in Transport Geography from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State. He is a Senior Lecturer and Head, Department of Geography and Regional Planning, Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State, Nigeria. Dr. Atubi won an M.Sc Research Award of the Council for Development of Economic and Social Research in Africa (CODESRIA) Dakar, Senegal. He is also the author of more than 35 journal articles in reputable Journals, numerous book chapters, and has attended over 50 conferences both in Nigeria and abroad. His research areas and interest are Transportation Geography, Quantitative Techniques in Geography, Environmental Impact Assessment of Transport Infrastructure, Transportation System Analysis, Urban Transportation Problems, Traffic Accidents in Developing Countries, GIS and Transport.
