Dr. Engr. Francis D. Udoh
Dr. Engr. Francis D. Udoh is currently a Senior Lecturer and Acting Head, Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. Dr. Udoh obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mining Engineering with a focus in Geotechnical & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wilconsin-Madison, Wilconsin, U.S.A. His research interests include, among others: Environmental Engineering, Drilling Engineering, Reservoir Characterization, Geostatistics, Mineral Economics, and Engineering Education. He is a member of various professional organizations including Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Society of Mining, Wetallurgy & Exploration (SME), Nigerian Mining Engineers and Geoscientists (COMEG). Dr. Udoh has worked both in government and in the private sector, and has more than 20 years of mining and oil industry experience. He has published extensively in both national and international journals of repute, and he has to his credit a book in Research Methods and Technical Report Writing.
