Prof. Akanbi, Wasiu Babatunde holds a Ph.D in Crop Physiology and Nutrition from the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. At present, he is lecturing in the Department of Agronomy, Ladoke, Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, Nigeria. He teaches several courses such as plant Anstomy, Taxonomy and physiology, Principles of crop husbandry, introduction to Tropical Corps, crops production techniques and other related courses. Associate prof. Akanbi Published many research articles in learned journals, attend and present papers at conferences and workshop. As an academic, he belongs to many professional bodies such as Horticultural society of Nigeria, Forestry Association of Nigeria, Science Association of Nigeria, and Organic Agriculture Association. Others are international food, Agriculture and Environment society (Finland) and international society of Organic Agriculture Research, University of Born, Germany.
