Prof. Samson U. Remison

Prof. Samson U. Remison, a Professor of Agronomy in Department of Crop Science, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria holds Ph.D in Plant Physiology from the University of Reading, Reading, United Kingdom. He has taught Courses in Plant Physiology, General Agriculture, Arable and Permanent Crop Production, Advanced Crop Production, Seed Technology and Storage, Vegetable and Horticultural Crop Production, Weed Science and Biometrics, Crop Physiology and Advanced Cropping Systems at undergraduate and postgraduate levels within and outside Nigeria; in such Tertiary Institutions as University of Reading, Reading, United Kingdom, University of Dundee, Dundee, Scotland, Ambrose Ali University, Ekpoma and University of Benin, Benin City Nigeria. Professor Remison has authored 5 Books, 33 conference and workshop papers, 81 articles in learned Journals nationally and internationally. He is a member, Agricultural Society of Nigeria, Science Society of Nigeria, Association for the Advancement of Agricultural Science in Africa; American Society of Agronomy, New York Academy of Sciences and British Ecological Society. Professor Remison has received several Honours and Awards such as Federal Government Scholarship, (In-Service Training) for Ph.D Programme at the University of Reading, United Kingdom as well as functions as Journal Editors for various International and National Journals.
